The first third of this film is where its Achilles' heel lies due to the awfully predictable setup and little promises in something endearing or clever, but give it some time and 'Cargo' does reveal its endearing narrative and clever characters who work well off one another in telling a different and solid zombie story
The new zombie film just released on Netflix, Ben Howling and Yolanda Ramke's Cargo (2017) showcases a new kind of zombie–the fungal zombie–and ushers in a whole new kind of horror. I have to start by saying that I was never really afraid of zombies as a kid.
